About me

My life story is more or less well-known. Life has placed me in the social category of “disabled.” I am missing both of my arms, which I lost in an accident with harvesting equipment on my parents’ small farm at the age of three.

Perseverance, determination, and several other personality and character traits developed in me through the challenges of everyday life, combined with the opportunities people gave me, led me to victory in sports arenas, from where I am known to a larger circle of friends, perhaps including you, reading these thoughts. In 2001, I graduated from the Krakow University of Economics with a specialization in public finance. In 2005, having worked in the area of human resources and payroll for a local government organizational unit since 2001, I deepened my knowledge of human resources management through postgraduate studies. In 2007, to further develop my interests, I participated in a postgraduate program in social economics. Throughout all these years, I have not shied away from other activities.

About me
About me

I updated my knowledge by participating in training sessions and, at the same time, by sharing my knowledge, I trained others. I was active in the community and engaged in project implementation. I gained a deep understanding of the structure of social policy and the structure of sport in our country, as well as globally, serving (and still serving) as a member of the Athletes’ Council at the International Paralympic Committee and the Athletes’ Council at the International Anti-Doping Agency. Most of my activities are related to the field of people with disabilities.
