GTM with DSS Club cyclists at a cycling race in Alsace
Renata KaÅ‚uża – third in the cycling race for athletes with disabilities qualified for the H2 group, Katarzyna Goncerz sixth in the H3 group, Tomasz Walisiewicz in the H4 group (prone position), fourth, and RafaÅ‚ Szumiec (Polish team for the Paralympic Games in Sochi, alpine skiing, group of seated athletes) in the H2 group was 29th.
In the H3 group, Joel Jeannot, a titled representative of the hosts, won, the second was German, Torsten Purschke. Our compatriot, Arkadiusz Skrzypiński (Tieto Start Szczecin), finished in third place.
Arka’s club colleague, RafaÅ‚ Wilk, a two-time gold medalist at the London Paralympic Games, placed 5th. Zbigniew Wandachowicz, also from Start Szczecin, arrived tenth. Igor Sikorski, our winter Olympic hope in para-alpine skiing, in the group of seated athletes, finished 36th.
In Rosenau, France, 196 athletes from 22 countries competed in all disability groups.
Our DSS Club competitors traveled to France thanks to GTM, which sponsored the trip. The competitors race on GTM equipment. CONGRATULATIONS on the results! It’s the beginning of the season, we wish you continued development!
