II Poprad Run – Paralympic cross-country skiers on Obidza

On Sunday, February 17, 2013, the II Poprad Run took place on the cross-country ski trails at Polana Obidza in Piwniczna-Zdrój.

Just like last year, the competition was included in the Amateur Polish Ski Association Championship in cross-country skiing, therefore fierce competition from the classified athletes was expected, and so it was.173 participants stood at the start of the competition, including the Polish Para-Ski Team: Arleta Dudziak, Kamil Rosiek, Witold Skupień, and Katarzyna Rogowiec as the honorary guest of the event, completing several demonstration rounds.

The idea of promoting cross-country skiing is very important and, most importantly, its Paralympic version is also being recognized. We thank the organizers for also getting involved in the promotion of sports for people with disabilities.
